Genius MD appointed professor at Quadriga University in Berlin

Dr Kristina Sinemus, Managing Director of genius gmbh, is to become a professor at Quadriga University of Applied Sciences in Berlin from May 2011. Professor Sinemus will join the Department of Politics & Public Affairs, which teaches managers how to communicate consciously and actively with the (political) public. Genius has many years of experience in this field and has already successfully advised numerous companies, ministries, associations and institutions on their public affairs.

With the appointment of Kristina Sinemus, Quadriga University is gaining an expert practitioner: Sinemus has been Managing Director and partner of genius gmbh since 1998. Prior to that she conducted research at the Centre for Interdisciplinary Studies in Technology (ZIT) at TU Darmstadt on “Ethical decision-making criteria in companies, based on the example of modern biotechnology”. Sinemus is trained in mediation and her specialist areas include large group moderation and participative debate processes. In addition, she brings many years’ experience as a strategy consultant to the job.

The courses at Quadriga University cater for senior professionals who are mid-way through their careers. Tailored programmes enable participants to combine intensive attendance phases with guided independent study leading to an MBA (Master of Business Administration) or other Master’s degree. The attendance phases in Berlin or abroad consist of courses through which eminent lecturers convey their expertise capably and effectively. In addition, participants are encouraged to work together intensively to complete projects independently as a team.
